Phat Joe Trends Following Feature On Showmax’s ‘Unfollowed’

Mzansi is left wondering when Phat Joe was canceled after he trended following his feature on Showmax’s “Unfollowed.”

Showmax’s “Unfollowed” show is a docuseries that follows cancelled celebrities who open up about their story. The show is hosted by the seasoned Thembekile Mrototo and recently featured Phat Joe.

In a clip posted to X, Mrototo is seen asking Phat Joe if he felt the backlash he faced was warranted. The radio could not understand where he went wrote but noted that he could have miscalculated some things.

A report by Briefly took us through memory lane when Phat Joe got into trouble with the stations he worked with. It reads, “Phat Joe got his former radio station, East Coast Radio, fined R30 000 because he alluded to tattooing a baby. Joe first got suspended from Metro FM, and then eventually got fired from Kaya 959 because of his unsavory comments about Caster Semenya.”

He also revealed he did not anticipate how the Caster Semenya incident played out, but had to get both sides of the story.
