We appear to to stepping into the era of celerity boxing matches once again. Well, how else does one explain the recent thirst for boxing matches by some celebrities, most recently the actor Pholoso Mohlala?
In case you missed it, Pholoso Mohlala recently indicated his interest in hitting the ring with Phumlani Njilo, who happens to be a boxing champion. That’s despite Pholoso not having similar sinews in boxing.
The planned fight with Njilo comes on the heels of another show of interest in a celebrity fight. Tumelo Ramaphosa, the son of the current president of Spouth Africa Curil Ramaphosa, had indicated his interest in fighting with Cassper Nyovest.
A fight between them has not been finalised, as Cassper has yet to indicate he is interested in fighting Tumelo. But if they should manage to pull of a match, they would certainly have the attention of the whole nation giving who is pitched against the rapper.
For now, though, all eyes are on Pholoso Mohlal to see the outcome of his pitch against a man who is no stranger to the ring.
