International; DJ and producer Black Coffee was recently nominated for the Grammy Awards, and he celebrated it in a big way. The Songster’s album “Subconsciously” had been nominated in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category.

The songster assembled his friends and associates and they celebrated the nomination together, the wine of celebration flowing with ease among them.

Several Mzansi celebs were to be found at the party to celebrate the nomination. The celebs include Oskido, Cassper Nyovest, and Julius Malema. Black Coffee’s son was also in attendance. You can see snaps from the event below.

Since the nominees’ list was released, Black Coffee has been receiving congratulations from all over the world. The nomination means a lot to him because it’s his first.

It would be an enormous career boost if he should emerge winner at the 64th Grammy next year.

It’s been a long run for Black Coffee since he emerged on the music scene. From obscurity, thanks to faith in his own abilities and his consistency, he has managed to plod his way to the acme of his career.

Today it is hard to imagine a more successful international DJ from South Africa. We’re Mzansi. So we hope he wins.
