Kwaito star Pitch Black Afro is in the news ago. He previously claimed that he was wrongfully arrested and stated that he did not kill his lover. While the Kwaito musician is still buzzing, he has slammed claims about being discovered by DJ Cleo.

The gist making the rounds on social media was that radio presenter DJ Cleo was the one who discovered him and introduced him to the music industry. However Afro says that’s untrue. Seen in a video shared by the news page MDN News on X, Pitch Black Afro states matter-of-factly that Cleo wasn’t the one who discovered him. He clarified that he only met the DJ when they did a song together.

Netizens seemed to be in support of his claims. @RegoSmurf replied, “Case of a man relying on everything from another man. Lesson here is be your own man.”
