Nothing beats the bond a coach has with his players. For the players, it is a motivation of sorts as they usually put in their best because they have excellent working relationships with the coach. This reality plays out again and again.
The most recent has just played before us, as coach Pitso Mosimane took to social media to encourage Percy Tau, who had an injury-ravished 2022 and has to miss the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Despite the doubts over Percy Tau as a result of his injuries, Mosimane still has robust faith in Tau, something he made apparent in a recent post on social media in which he called the Tau a “top player” and also wished him an injury-free 2023.
Although the Egyptian media has cast doubts about Percy Tau’s fitness to play for Al Ahly following his string of injuries, Mosimane has no doubts about the powers of his forward. He encouraged Tau not to worry a lot because he is still a quality player and merits playing at a high level. He said his forward should pray a lot.
Mosimane’s words shouldn’t come as a surprise as he is known to share a deep bond with Tau.
