Mzansi police have confirmed the attempted robbery at the Shauwn Mkhize La Lucia mansion. They stated that one of the armed robbers was injured in a shootout.
Woah, this is hectic. According to recent reports, Billionaire socialite Shauwn Mkhize’s La Lucia mansion was almost robbed by armed robbers. The police have confirmed this in a recent statement.
According to them, the armed robbers had tried to access the southern side of the mansion on Saturday, January 7, but were stopped by the billionaire’s security team. KZN police spokesperson Col Robert Netshiunda told reporters that while the robbers failed to carry out their plans, one of them was injured in the shootout.
They further revealed that two armed robbers managed to get away while the other one was shot in the leg. “It is believed that there were three robbers. Security guards wounded one in the leg, and the others managed to escape empty-handed.” said Netshiunda.
He revealed that the mansion is divided into two, the northern and the southern parts. Shauwn lives in the northern part, while her estranged husband lives in the Southern part. The two are reportedly going through a divorce.
“There is a northern part and a southern part. The woman lives in the northern part, and the man in the southern part because they are going through a divorce. It is in the southern part where the man lives where the robbers tried to strike.”
