In a now-viral clip, the songster could be seen defending his face while a man assaults him in the presence of other figures who were clearly part of the assault “squad.” As seen in the video, his attackers were many and he was powerless to fight back.
The attack led to a commotion of sorts and when the gym staff noticed what was going on, they notified the police.
The musician sustained multiple injuries in the face by the time his attacks were done. He was hospitalised as a result. recent pictures from his hospital bed showed his face swollen and with visible gashes.
Now the police are actively looking for those who had assaulted Tekashi 6ix9ine. Members of the public are encouraged to share details with the police.
