Police Place Five In Custody Over AKA’s Murder

Police have placed five in custody over SA Hip Hop star AKA’s murder.

On February 10, Mzansi rapper AKA and his bestfriend Tibz were shot and killed in Durban. The famous rapper had gone out to dinner with his friends. Since then, police have been conducting an investigation into the murder.

According to recent reports, police have had a breakthrough in their investigations into the murder. They have arrested five suspects and placed them in custody. Further reports reveal the suspects are on their way to Durban from Cape Town for further questioning. Specialized police units made the arrest over the weekend.

The Sunday Tribune had previously reported that three suspects were arrested on Sunday. The paper reported, “According to a source close to the investigation into the rapper’s killing, the suspects were arrested in Cape Town and were in police custody.” Two more men were arrested on Tuesday and taken into custody.
