It is the dream of many to live on and remain in excellent health until old age, without pain and without having to be admitted to the hospital. But as we find out all too often, in this life, people don’t always get what they wish for.
This is the reality of comedian and filmmaker Leon Schuster at the moment. He is back in hospital, where he is reportedly treating complications from back pain. The latest hospital admission is said to be the result of him having had a nasty fall on the set of a movie.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, he could be seen on his hospital bed. From there, he addressed his fans, letting them know he is doing well. He also encouraged them to support the country’s rugby team in their campaign for World Cup glory in France.
He would be happy to know that Springboks eventually emerged victorious, beating New Zealand in the finals. You can check out the clip below.
Springbok’s historic win has been a source of celebration back home in South Africa. And for Schuster, yes, prayers are going across South Africa for his recovery and eventual discharge from the hospital
