Cancer is the ultimate terror for most people – an affliction they would rather not have for whatever reason. But sometimes life doesn’t go the way people wish or want it.
This has been the reality of South African media personality Zanele Mbokazi, who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
In a recent post on X, the popular gossip blog MDN News announced the star’s affliction with a picture of her live on set.
In the caption to the post, it noted that the Ukhozi FM presenter has been diagnosed with lung cancer, as revealed by her husband Bishop Mpendulo Nkambukle to the station.
She has reportedly undergone surgery and expectations are high for overcoming the health scare. You can check out the post below.

Many people see cancer as the ultimate terror as it is not easy to treat – if at all – especially when it is detected late and has metastasized.
Since the news broke of the radio presenter’s cancer affliction, it has been raining goodwill and prayers for her across South Africa, with many encouraging her and sharing their optimism she would beat cancer, as a couple of other people have done around the world previously.
Get well soon, Zanele.
