Preparations Underway for the Official Coronation of King Misuzulu Sinqobile Zulu

Preparations are underway for the coronation of the next Zulu king, Prince Misuzulu Sinqobile Zulu.

He will be ascending the throne of his forefather after a series of controversies, including the challenge to his right to the throne by his two half-sisters.

But with President Cyril Ramaphosa recognizing his kingship a day ago, all things appear to be in order for his coronation. President Ramaphosa had conveyed his warmest wishes to the new king.

The president noted that the new king comes from a long line of kings who fought for the welfare of their people. He ended by wishing the new king a long and prosperous reign.

Reacting to President Ramaphosa’s endorsement, the Zulu prime minister Mangosuthu Buthelezi noted that the president had lifted a tremendous burden from the Zulu nation, which can now proceed with crowning a new king.

Buthelezi ended by praising the president for his prudence

With the official backing of the presidency, the coronation can now begin. According to Buthelezi, preparation for the coronation will be handled by a committee that will be convened.

The prime minister thanked the Zulu nation for backing the new king while calling for unity among the new king’s subjects.
