Tyla is the name on everyone’s lips. The “Been Thinking” singer’s life has not been the same since the release of her hit song “Water.” The song went viral on social media, charted across the world, including in the US, the UK, etc., and opened massive doors for her. It also landed her her first-ever Grammy Award.

The entire country congratulated the singer for her win. She got a video call from President Cyril Ramaphosa, who praised her for making the country proud. He is quoted saying to her,

“You are excellent. We are so proud. You make me and all of us so proud. It’s phenomenal. You have lifted all of us. You have put South Africa on the map. We are on the map once again.”

President Cyril was spotted in a recent video making rounds on social media, doing the Water Dance Challenge. He must really be proud of the 22-year-old to join the challenge.

The video was shared by @NalaThokozane with the caption,
