Prince Kaybee has highlighted the problems link with the initiative of buying from local street vendors, as a means of supporting them towards the lockdown period.
The talented producer pointed out that the problem with buying such fresh product is that it might get rotten if bought in big quantities, that instead they should be given money to support them, asking them to use their produce to feed their families during the time of the lockdown. He took to his twitter page on Wednesday the 25th of March 2020 to make the revelation.

The whole thing of buying all stock from street vendors doesn’t make sense to me. Why not just give them the money and let them keep that stock as groceries for themselves for the rest of the Lockdown so that when they get back they have capital to buy more stock.

In the next few hours the whole country will be on a total lockdown which means the street traders among other traders won’t be able to display there wares and nobody is to be seen roaming the streets. Some celebrities like King Monada came out to pledge to patronize the street vendors, just to support them.
