“Fetch Your Life” crooner Prince Kaybee has encouraged fellow black South Africans to patronize black-owned businesses.

He made the call in a recent tweet. The call was actually in response to peeps who had called out Drip for making shoes that are not durable. In his tweet Prince Kaybee had stated that black businesses are playing catch up and might make mistakes along the line. He encouraged fellow blacks to support their own by buying from them. Prince Kaybee’s post has elicited mixed reactions. While some fans loudly supported him, others think he is skewing the narrative. One fan stated that it is total crap for black businesses not to get bad reviews because they are upcoming.

The same fan, who goes by the Twitter Handle @CocoPearl8, wondered how black businesses will know about their shortcomings if they don’t know about their shortcomings and improve.
