“Principled Man” – AKA On How Riky Rick Declined To Host The Braai Show

Riky Rick might is dead, but his memory continues to hum as friends and associates alike continue to relive the good times with him.

The latest to relive the memory of the much-loved rapper is Kiernan Jarry Forbes, the songster who goes by the stage name AKA. According to him, Riky Rick had turned down the offer to host The Braai Show.

The songster made this revelation after scoring a major legal victory over the ownership of The Braai Show. Contrary to what the other litigant Cake media had claimed, AKA, according to the court, owns a 50 percent stake in the show.

AKA revealed, in lyrics posted on Twitter, that Riky Rick had been approached by Cake Media to host the show but he declined because he was a principled man. You can check it out below.

Cassper Nyovest, AKA’s adversary, was approached soon after, and he took up the role of host. AKA had objected at the time because, although he has a 50 percent stake in the show, he wasn’t consulted about the choice of Cassper taking over as host in the second season.

Wherever Riky Rick might be right now, he must be happy that Mzansi is remembering him and for good, too.
