Producer Just Blaze Says Joe Budden’s Hit ‘Pump It Up’ Was Meant To Be About Masturbation

American record producer, reveals that Pump It Up was originally about masturbation.

Joe Budden 2013’s hit song titled ‘Pump It Up,’ was one of the most popular songs that can still be heard in conversations today. This song made the rapper more famous and he is still being acknowledged for it.

However, during an episode of Sole Collector’s Full Size Run, the producer of Pump It Up, Just Blaze, revealed something interesting.

Just Blaze revealed to the hosts Matt Welty, Trinidad James, and Brendan Dunne that Pump It Up originally talked about masturbation. Yes, the hosts were very surprised to learn about that.

Just Blaze stated:

Do you know the original version of ‘Pump It Up’ was about masturbation? You know how in the second verse he’s like, ‘My jump off doesn’t care if I go out so much. My jump off..’ Originally it was, ‘My hand doesn’t worry if I go out so much. My hand doesn’t worry about..’ That’s a fun fact.

The 2003 hit song, ‘Pump It Up,’ was featured on Joe Budden’s debut album in 2013. It earned the #38 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and spot thirteen in the UK.

Pump It Up was nominated at the 46th Grammys for Best Male Rap Solo Performance.
