New SAMRO board member, Proverb outlines the issues he is looking to tackle.
Incase you haven’t heard, SA Hip Hop star and media personality, Proverb was elected as a SAMRO board member. In a recent post made to his Instagram page he revealed that the board held their 57th Annual General Meeting (AGM) due to COVID-19 regulations. It was their first hybrid meeting featuring physical and virtual attendance from members.
During the meeting, Proverb was elected a non-Executive Director to the SAMRO Board. He opened up about his election into the board. According to him, it is a new opportunity to learn from those who have served and hopefully affect some positive change to the industry.
He also revealed that he is hoping to bridge the gap between the board and its members. He also looks to help empower creatives to take advantage of the service on offer, and also help promote all that the organisation does. Check out the full post below.
