Quavo On Migos Topping Charts In South Africa, Dreams of Return
Migos is an American, not South African, group, but this band of “brothers” sure has a robust following in the Rainbow Nation. This much became apparent when the group’s “Culture III” album flew to the top of the charts in South Africa.
That body of work features the likes of Future, Drake, Cardi B, Juice WRLD and the late Pop Smoke. In a tweet, Quavo had celebrated two songs from the project securing top spots on the Apple Music Global Charts.
In response to Quavo’s tweet, a fan of the group had shared a screenshot showing that 11 songs from the group’s album are chart-toppers in South Africa’s hip hop/ rap Apple Music Chart.
In response, Quavo stated Migos can’t wait to return to South Africa, emphasizing the group missed the Rainbow Nation. The group last visited South Africa in 2017, courtesy of Mabala Noise, a record label that appears to be cobtending with the dust of oblivion.
