R Kelly Requests To Be Released From Prison, Claiming He’s ‘Likely Diabetic’

Lawyer of the American singer, R Kelly, has filed documents requesting that the judge release his client on trial. According to the lawyer, the Bureau of Prisons did not disclose the medical report of his client from March, which showed that he is ‘likely diabetic.’

The documents claimed to have revealed that R Kelly has high cholesterol and high blood pressure. This has made him vulnerable to catch COVID-19 while he is at the prison in MCC Chicago.

The American singer is very determined to get out of jail on bond, even though his previous requests had been denied.

R Kelly has made another plea that will get him out of jail. This time around, he is asking the judge to release him because he has proof of being vulnerable to contracting coronavirus.

Based on reports, R Kelly’s lawyer claimed that the Bureau of Prisons did not close R Kelly’s medical report from March.

The judge has not made a decision based on the reports. After two failed attempts, there is no certainty that the singer will be released.

About a month ago, R Kelly requested to be released from prison for the fear of contracting coronavirus. The judge did not grant this plea.

He further stated that social distancing could not be maintained in jail as he revealed that not all inmates could afford to buy soap. R Kelly also said that there was unavailability of sanitizers, and that the only one available was in the visiting floor.  The only one available has been labeled to be used by only the staff.
