If wishes were horses, of course, everyone would be living the dream. But, of course, life isn’t that way and never will be. Well, celebrated radio personality Jeremy Mansfield is dead. He died of terminal liver cancer over the weekend. He was 59.
The veteran radio host has been battling cancer for a while and revealed early this January that he had terminal stage 4 liver cancer. The revelations shattered some of his fans at the time, who were not really expecting such tragic news. And some even took it upon themselves to pray for his healing.
Well, it turned out life has other ideas. He lost the battle for life, and the radio universe has been in mourning since.
The news of his death was confirmed by another radio host, John Walland, today, Monday, but without much detail about what transpired up to his death. At any rate, Mzansi Twitter has been actively speaking about Mansfield and his contributions to the world of radio. Some really wished he didn’t have to go so early.
