Rihanna Joins The Billionaires League, Now Richest Female Musician

Barbadian singer and entrepreneur Robyn Rihanna Fenty, long famous simply as Rihanna, has just joined the global billionaire’s club, with a net fortune of 1.7 billion.

This much was disclosed by Forbes in a recent report. With her current net worth, she becomes richest female musician and the second richest woman in the world after Oprah Winfrey. See the tweet below.

The largest chunk of Rihanna’s fortune comes not from her music but from her businesses. She launched Fenty Beauty in 2017. The company has grown remarkably in the past few years, becoming the pillar on which she leapt to billionaire status. She owns 50% stake in the company, while the other half is owned by luxury brand conglomerate LVMH.

Also contributing to her fortune is her lingerie range Savage x Fenty, which has a valuation of $270 million.

The news of Bad gal Riri making it to billionaire status provoked great excitement among her fans on social media, with many them showering her with congratulations. Some simply shared a list of things they could do if they had her fortune.
