Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest Has Been Postponed

Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest has been postponed till April.

A recent announcement shared via the Cotton Fest official page on Instagram reveals that the festival has been postponed until April. This comes after Cassper Nyovest announced that the event will still be continued to honour Riky Rick’s legacy. The new statement revealed that the festival’s team will “keep his vision alive”. It will now happen on April 23rd and 24th.

Back in January, Cotton Fest shared plans for a new event. The 3rd annual festival was scheduled to happen over a course of two days (19 & 20 March 2022) at The Station in Newton, Johannesburg. The theme for this year’s Cotton Fest is “University & Campus”.

The festival will feature 3 stages and also include performances by a total of 100 of South Africa’s best artist. There will also be merch, cafeteria, sports area, and even lockers for attendees to store their belongings. Tickets for the show also went on sale in the same month.
