There is one of the most talked about hip hop rivalries in South Africa’s music history, providing entertainment for the bored of the Rainbow Nation. It appears the two celebrated artistes are about to take their case to the next level – this time with a boxing march.
Back in March this year, AKA, who recently left “Monuments” to music lovers in South Africa, had indicated that he would be engaging in a boxing match with Cassper Nyovest.
He said that was the reason it appeared he spoke – really tweeted – so much about his rival that month. Some of the tweets may have been deleted but the match is no jest, after all, as some fans had speculated back then.
AKA had stated that he and Cassper Nyovest were in the process of signing a boxing deal with EFC & SuperSport for a fight in September 2020. Cassper Nyovest has since confirmed the deal in an interview with DJ Speedsta.
What should fans expect when the two hip hop stars eventually clash? Fans are already fevered with expectancy. September isn’t too far away, so stay tuned.
