Seasoned sportscaster Robert Marawa is in the news again, this time over claims that he’s dating a lady 23 years younger than him: actress Nelisiwe Sibiya.
The controversial blogger Musa Khawula claimed the two are dating in a post shared on his Twitter page. The news is current causing ripples in South Africa, with some social media denizens comparing him to Busta 929, who’d reportedly impregnated a 17-year-old teenager.
So far, though, neither Marawa nor Nelisiwe has addressed claims that they are dating. If indeed they’re dating, then they are keeping the intricate details to themselves.
Still, amid the accusations that he’s dating a lady much younger than him, his fans have been supporting him and trying to hush those criticising the relationship. Their argument is that both are adults and are not forbidden by law to be in a relationship.
The current speculations come on the heels of a similar rumour that had romantically linked Marawa and reality star, Nonku Williams. The two had denied the claims at the time, stating they were just friends.
