A new season of the musical festival Rocking the Daisies is around the corner, and excitement is currently building in South Africa over it. And oh, Blxckie has been announced as the first local artist for the concert.
Tickets for the festival are not out yet. But fans can hope to get the ticket from May 26, exactly three days from now, when sales go live via quicket.com.
Rocking The Daisies, an initiative of Steyn Entertainment has been around for several years, with both local and international acts performing, including Black Coffee and the late Riky Rick.
This year’s event will take place during the weekend, from 7th to 9th October.
But who are on the lineup for the imminent festival? Organisers have been a tease in that department. They have unveiled Blxckie and EarthGang, all right, but they have a strategy for revealing the others. And it requires the participation of fans.
Organisers encourage fans to like the Instagram post announcing the first wave of headliners. When the likes reach 1,500, it will unlock another wave of revelations of performers for the event.
But what if fans decide not to play along? It would be an embarrassing coup. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen. Lol.
