Tennis icon Roger Federer wears the Springboks jersey while playing his favourite sport.
Everyone has that one sport that makes them feel good, and they aren’t shy when it comes to supporting them. While he may be known as one of the greatest Tennis players in the world, Roger Federer is also a huge fan of Rugby.
Mzansi was thrilled to hear that he was supporting the Springboks all through the World Cup. He constantly showed them love and even visited the team in their locker room to congratulate them after winning the game. Of course, Mzansi was impressed.
Some went as far as finding out what could inspire that amount of love. They say his mother was born in South Africa. The country has since embraced Federer. The Tennis was recently spotted wearing the Springboks jersey while playing his favourite sport, Tennis. South African Netizens have shown love to him and welcomed him for a visit.
There is also a picture of him sharing a hug with Springboks captain Siya Kolisi. Keaganbam wrote, “I like how the SA team didn’t even hesitate to bring him on the field to come celebrate.” Another called him a proud South African supporter.
