Popular South African rapper, Rouge, has taken to her social media page to publicly deny claims that she and her fellow rapper, Nadia Nakai, are rivals.
A recent post made by the ‘One By One’ rapper on her Twitter page had fuelled such speculation.
In the viral tweet, Rouge wrote that she is still “(the) best when it comes to the bars.”
These claims arose when Rouge made a post that was misconstrued as a diss. She has, however, rubbished such claims.
Social media assumed that the tweet was a subliminal diss at Nadia Nakai’s brand new single titled ‘40 Bars.’ The single features Emtee.

Rouge recently released the highly-anticipated collaboration with AKA titled, ‘One By One (I BY 1).
The popular rapper, author and TV presenter is someone that AKA has always gushed about. He believes that she can win some of the male rappers as she is very talented. Rouge also holds the ‘Fela In Versace’ hitmaker in high regards.
On 16, February 2020, Rouge tweeted that she will be collaborating with the ‘Supa Mega’ rapper on a new record. The news has hit music lovers in Mzansi in a great way as they had been anticipating the release of the song from their two of their favourite artists.
The highly-anticipated song was released on the 27th of February, a day before its scheduled date, and music lovers haven’t stopped gushing about the jamming hit!
