Rouge Praises Def Jam’s Marketing Of Nasty C, Wishes Other Labels Do The Same

It appears Nasty C’s recent signing to Def Jam Africa is a career boost – you may say career triumph for him – at least his compatriot the South African rapper Rouge thinks so.

In a tweet earlier today 25 June 2020, the songstress stated that Def Jam Africa is marketing the heck out of the “Zulu Man With Some Power.” She was pleased and expressed the wish local record labels will take similar initiative. Well, are the record labels listening?

Rouge has been outspoken of recent, encouraging and motivating her fellow rappers. Days earlier, she had acknowledged Gigi Lamayne’s rap talent. At this rate, it doesn’t appear Rouge would freeze her words of encouragement anytime soon.

Rouge is herself doing well musically. She has been recognized as versatile, and even her compatriot and fellow rapper AKA had encouraged her musical versatility.

By the way, Nasty C recently released his “ZULU” mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid. That body of work, comprising 11 tracks, captured the attention of the world instantly, recording over 2 million streams on Audiomack in two days.

Well, what do you think of Rouge’s verdict on Def Jam’s  marketing of Nasty C? You may want to join the conversation by dropping your thought in the comment section below.
