Cassper Nyovest and Ruff are in a feud over the former’s announcement of a collaboration with Emtee.
One day, one drama. SA Hip Hop is one of the most entertaining genres in the music industry, not just for the amazing music the artistes deliver but also for the feuds that surface all the time.
If you are a Hip Hop fan, and you haven’t witnessed a feud, you’re definitely not paying attention. While all of Mzansi has been excited for the proposed collaboration between Cassper Nyovest and Emtee, someone is just not feeling. That’s Emtee’s ATM producer, Ruff.
In his opinion, it just “doesn’t make sense”. He believes the collaboration would be about hype and not for the benefit of the music. According to him, Cassper wouldn’t have brought up the collaboration if it weren’t for the success of the new “Wave” joint.
A stupefied Mufasa who has always complained about the drama in the SA Hip Hop scene replied revealing he and Emtee had had a private conversation about the collaboration before the song “Wave” dropped.
Check out the back and forth below:
Who said I’m denying? Its just not gonna happen because it doesn’t make sense.we don’t feature artists for hype we feature artists for music that will make sense.these 2 artists don’t mix cass is good on his own and emtee is good on his own. https://t.co/27BwVDYYUc
