The year was 2021 and Alec was holding a Colt .45 pistol when it discharged, killing Halyna Hutchins and injuring the director Joel Souza. Back in April last year, initial manslaughter charges against him were dropped over what investigators called “new facts.”

The charges have resurfaced, with court documents indicating that the actor and producer has pleaded not guilty to them. It’s now up to the court to decide its verdict.
