Award-winning SA film-making duo Reabetswe Moeti-Vogt and Zoe Ramushu dominate New York for the press trip for their film “Real Estate Sisters.”
Making films is a delight for Mzansi’s adored filmmakers Reabetswe Moeti-Vogt and Zoe Ramushu. A few weeks back, their new film “Real Estate Sisters” premiered at the Joburg film festival and received rave reviews.
They have now embarked on a press trip from South Africa to New York and then to the world. The ladies showed up to the New York premiere of their film “Real Estate Sisters,” wearing creations by Nigerian designer Chuks Collins, and were absolutely gorgeous.
Their glam was noticeably on point during the press tour in New York this week. News 24 reports that tourists stopped to film and take photos with the two ladies during their photoshoot at the Empire State Building just before their New York premiere. The queens certainly did not mind.
According to several reports, the new film is one of a few micro budget projects supported through a film fund created by Netflix, South Africa’s National Film & Videos Foundation and the Department of Trade and Industry. The new film was produced, written and directed by the two ladies. Mzansi is certainly proud of them.
