SA Worried About Naledi Pandor’s Comment On Ukraine And Russia Crisis

South Africans are worried about Naledi Pandor’s comments on the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine.

Virtually everyone in the world has watched, shocked as Russia has began to invade Ukraine. Many feared that this would happen, and it currently is. Commenting on the ongoing crisis between the two countries, International Relations and Corporation minister, Naledi Pandor stated that South Africa is calling for the easing of tension between them.

According to her, South Africa is working to unify all the parties in the region. She said “South Africa’s position has been (and is) continuing to encourage all the parties to strengthen all diplomatic efforts to avoid an escalation of tensions, and work towards an inclusive, sustainable and peaceful solution based on cooperation and dialogue,”.

Mzansi has taken to social media to react to her comments on unifying both countries. People are shocked that she is talking about it and have shared tweets warning the minister to mind her business.

This is majorly because the Russian Prime minister, Vladimir Putin has warned countries of the world to stay out of it. In his own words, “Anyone who tries to interfere with us, or even more so, to create threats for our country and our people, must know that Russia’s response will be immediate and will lead you to such consequences as you have never before experienced in your history.”
