SABC 1 Previews Upcoming Music Show, SA Hip Hop Story

SABC 1 previews episodes of their upcoming show SA Hip Hop Story ahead of its premiere.

It is only a matter of days till SABC 1 premieres their upcoming show, SA Hip Hop Story. The show is set to debut on Monday, 1st June, and from what we’ve seen, it promises to be a very entertaining one.

SABC 1 took to the Twitter today, 21 May 2020 to share a preview of some of the show’s episodes. It showed visuals of some of Mzansi’s biggest Hip Hop musicians performing for their fans. The voice over states “For the first time in South African popular youth culture, hip-hop has been one of the most dominant genres of the last five years.”

The show outlines the various trials our Mzansi Hip Hop artists face. We will see them talk about their journeys to fame in the music industry. The clips feature various acts including LEX, Gigi Lamayne, Tshego, The Big Hash, Yanga Chief and Touchline Truth.
