Same Old Same: Tinubu, Atiku, Osibanjo, Peter Obi Lobbying To Become Next Nigerian President

The battle for the seat of president of Nigeria continues for the politicos in Nigeria’s political arena, with the like of the All Progressives Congress national leader, Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Yomi Osinbanjo, and Peter Obi lobbying to take over from the incumbent.

Their candidatures wouldn’t be much of an issue to most Nigerian, except that every one of them has held political office previously and some  Nigerian think they’re one and the same and have nothing to bring to the table.

One of them, Bola Tinubu, was a former governor of Lagos state and one of those instrumental to bringing Buhari to power. Nigerians think Buhari has failed and that Tinubi is a part of that failure and should not rule the country.

Yomi Osinbajo is the current Vice President. And because he’s a part of the system Nigerians think has failed, they’re wondering out loud why he should be. lobbying to take over from Buhari.

A former vice president, Atiku Abubakar had competed against Buhari previously and lost, but he isn’t giving up on his dreams of ruling Nigeria. He’s lobbying furiously to take over the reins of power from Buhari.

And this brings up the question, are the Nigerian youths sleeping?
