Famous Mzansi actress Samkelo Ndlovu has opened up about her anticipated return to the screen as Minky in the second season of “Adulting.”
We must confess that the country waited a long time to see Samkelo Ndlovu back on the screen. The famous actress took a hiatus, and everyone missed her vixen roles. We are glad to see her back, just as much as she is excited to be back on the screen.
The former “Rhythm City” actress plays the character of Minky on ‘Adulting’ season two, which airs on Showmax from 4 December until February 2024. Ndlovu’s character, Minky, is described by News24 as “a quintessential girl from the township.”
“Adulting” gained a lot of attention in the country because of its storyline and the steamy scenes that were very talked about on social media. Speaking about her new role, Samkelo said,
“I said yes to the role, mainly because I was drawn to Minky’s transparency. I am more drawn to people who are looking inwards and it gives me great pleasure knowing that I can portray that on a revolutionary show which aims to tell the everyday South African.”
