SAPS Now Probing Costa Titch’s Tragic Death On Stage

Costa Titch’s tragic death last Saturday is being probed by the South African Police Services (SAPS). The celebrated rapper and dancer had collapsed and died while performing at the Ultra South Africa concert in Johannesburg.

At the time of his death, it was alleged that the lighting at the arena must have provoked a seizure which made him collapse on stage and from which he never recovered. He has reportedly been suffering from epilepsy up to the time of the performance.

However, that claim wasn’t conclusive as it is neither a toxicology report nor the outcome of an autopsy.

With South Africans still mourning the “Big Flexa” chanter’s death, the SAPS has waded in to determine what exactly caused his death. Gauteng Police Spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine Costa Titch’s exact cause of death.

Costa Titch’s family has confirmed his death in a post on his verified Instagram page while also thanking members of the public for their support.

South Africans and the international community alike have been mourning the songster. Senegalese-American singer Akon, who had earlier praised Costa Titch’s talents, is among the notable figures to publicly express their shock at the tragedy.
