SAPS React To Alleged Planned Party With Master KG

Master KG is in the news again, but it has nothing to do with the atrium of his single “Jerusalema.” The songster is currently embroiled in a little controversy over an alleged police year-end party where he would reportedly be performing alongside other musicians, including Vukani.

Someone has seemingly created a fake flyer announcing a party by the South African police, including the images of Master KG and Vukani as part of the performers at the event. In reaction to the flyer, the police had issued a statement denying its involvement in such a party.

The police warned the public to be aware of the unauthorised use of its emblems by members of the public to advertise a party it is not a part of. You can check out the post below.

This isn’t the first time a brand has had to dissociate itself from events that used their emblems. It has happened multiple times in the past.

At the time of writing, Master KG had not said anything about the SAPS distancing themselves from the whole affair. It is unclear if the party itself is real or was an avenue to bilk the public. Either way, the police have made their position known.
