Sarkodie Links Up With Ruger For “TIll We Die,” Buzz Breaks Over Artwork

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is keen to forge collaborative ties with newer voices on the African music plane. This explains his recent announcement that he will be releasing new music on Thursday, October 26, in collaboration with Nigerian singer Ruger.

He shared the cover art of the imminent song on his official Instagram page, tagging Rugger in the caption as the only guest on the song. It is his first collaboration with the Nigerian, so expectations are high for what follows.

The cover art and even the title of the song suggest that it has love and relationships as themes. That should perhaps not be surprising given that Sarkodie is known for his treatment of similar themes in his music. It certainly wouldn’t be his first.

it is unclear what motivated him to work with Ruger, but fans appear chuffed already and hankering from the whole sauce. While Ruger is a new voice on the music plane compared to Sakodie, the Mavin star has already made quite an impact on the music scene.

This perhaps explains the strong interest in “Till We Die.” Well, you can tag along to listen to the number on this platform when we share it. Why not?
