Billionaire daughter Sbahle Mpisane was arrested in Midrand and released on bail.
Sbahle Mpisane, daughter of former businessman politician Sbu Mpisane and stepdaughter of Shauwn Mkhize, was reportedly arrested during the festive season for reckless and negligent driving in Midrand. Zimoja reports that she spent a few hours in the police holding cells before being released on bail.
Her arrest was confirmed by the Gauteng SAPS spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, who revealed that she would be re-appearing in court soon.
“I will confirm her court dates. Yes, the incident happened on Maxwell Drive in Midrand. A 30-year-old woman was arrested and charged,” said Masondo.
Back in 2018, the fitness bunny and reality star was reported to have been in a car accident that happened at around 4 AM on the Victoria Embankment opposite Wilson’s Wharf in Durban. She was rescued and rushed to hospital in an ambulance and treated for multiple traumatic injuries, but her car burst into flames after the crash.
She said she suffered severe head trauma and memory loss from the accident. The Durban Central Police Station opened a case of reckless and negligent driving to investigate the accident. Neither Sbahle nor anyone on her team has spoken about the incident.
