Sello Maake kaNcube and 4 More Celebs Given Bogus Qualifications From Trinity Bible University

Acclaimed actor Sello Maake Ncube joins several other celebs who were given bogus qualifications by Trinity Bible University.

Sello Maake kaNcube’s new doctorate by Trinity Bible University has brought so much conversation his way as people questioned the institution’s legitimacy. The star was recently honoured with a PhD by the Trinity International Bible University, which led the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande to announced that the institution was not running legitimately.

Reacting to the news, Sello shared a photo of himself and his wife at the event and wrote, “To all those who felt like they had something to say, here is my official response. Mess plus Age gives you a MESSAGE! Keep listening, Keep watching. Thank you all for your positive messages to these new developments.” He also gave a shout-out to his wife Pearl.

Briefly News also listed several other celebs who got bogus qualifications from the University. Elizabeth Serunye reportedly shared the news of receiving a doctorate from the institution. She wrote, “Graduation day. Honor me as Dr Sikasu Serunye.”

“Tsiu Tsaka” singer Winnie Mashaba received her doctorate in sacred music in 2019 from Trinity. In 2021, legendary musician Deborah Fraser was honoured with a doctorate in sacred music. Former general secretary of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), Zwelinzima Vavi also received a doctorate from Trinity in 2018.

Twitter (X) user RealDEMAWUSA writes that the controversial politician was honoured as a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Governance.
