These are not the best of times for South African actor Sello Maake KaNcube, who has reportedly lost endorsements and gigs on the heels of his alleged divorce from his wife Pearl Mbewe.
Details of the crisis that engulfed their marriage are still unclear. What the public knows for sure is that the two are headed for a divorce, Beyond that, it appears like the actor is getting hit more in life following the news of his imminent divorce from Pearl.
According to multiple resources, amid the news of his divorce, Sell Maake had lost his spot in the series “Championships.” Beyond that, he had also reportedly lost out on an endorsement deal with budget insurance.
The endorsement deal with Budget Insurance was reportedly worth millions of rand and funded the actor’s lavish lifestyle. With the deal now reportedly gone, it will be interesting to see what changes – if at all – take place in the actor’s life.
It remains unclear whether the rumour of his divorce from Pearl was the reason for the loss of the brand ambassador deal with Budget Insurance.
