South African singer Kelly Khumalo has reportedly shaded her sister Zandie who sought to testify privately in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case. Zandie had received backlash from the public for wanting her testimony to be private, and Kelly had apparently joined in the sally.
The two sisters, as well as their mother and others, were in the same house on the day Senzo Meyiwa was murdered. Meyiwa was a former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and Kelly Khumalo’s girlfriend at the time.
So, to some members of the public, everyone who was present in the house on the day Meyiwa was murdered is a suspect and should be questioned closely. Both sisters have maintained their innocence, though, and the case has dragged on for years.
It resumed earlier this month and all eyes are on the sisters, as well as five other suspects who are standing trial for the murder.
Kelly Khumalo shading her sister wouldn’t come as a surprise to those who know about them. They have had a tumultuous relationship for as long as one can remember. And with her latest shade, it appears the drama between them would not end anytime soon. You can check out the video below.
