The last may not have been heard about the Semzo Meyiwa murder case. Each day, there are new “revelations,” speculations and permutations about what went down on the day the Bafana Bafana goalie was shot dead in Vosloorus.
The year was 2014. Senzo, who was married at the time, was at the home of Kelly Khumalo, whom he was dating apparently without his wife’s knowledge. He never left the place alive, as he was shot in what has been dubbed a robbery gone wrong.
Not everyone is buying the robbery story, though. Just recently, one Twitter user claimed that Zansie Khumalo was having a relationship with Senzo at the time. In other words, besides having a wife, Senzo also publicly had Kelly as his girlfriend and Zandie as his “secret lover.”
The same Twitter user claimed that Zandie was in a relationship with Longwe Twala at the time and when Longwe found out she slept with Senzo, he was furious and stormed the house to confront Senzo. He ended up shooting him. That is the reason the sisters have not been at peace with each other (allegedly).
