A prominent lawyer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Advocate Zandile Mshololo, has just made it clear that she would not descend to the same level as singer Zandie Khumalo, who irreverently referenced her as a barking dog recently.
In a post on her official Instagram page, Zandie had shared the image of a dog, noting in isiZulu that she recently bought it. She described the dog as ugly with its primary purpose being to bark. She named the dog “Mlosholo” – a mordant corruption of Advocate Msololo’s name.
The lawyer wasn’t moved by the disrespect but took it in her stride, noting as a comment to it that people say whatever they want to say on social media, but she would not stoop down to Zansie’s level. She went on to say that if the singer thinks what she, Mshololo, is doing is a crime, she should open a case against her.
Adv. Mshololo also advised Zandie to wait until the conclusion of the case to say whatever she wants to.
The insult directed at Mshololo markedly contrasts with what Zandie did last year. He openly praised her then because her actions favoured her in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial case. This was before the case was assigned to a new judge.
