Senzo Meyiwa’s brother blasts the police as he reacts to the alleged hitman’s confession to killing the late Bafana Bafana star.
For 6 years, the killers of Senzo Meyiwa remain unknown. The former sportsman was gunned down in his home in Vosloorus. Since then, the police have been unable to find who his killers were.
Also, all through the years, his baby mama, and girlfriend at the time, Kelly Khumalo has been accused by the people of knowing something about his death. She has since become one of the most hated people in the country. She recently spoke out about Senzo’s death saying she would have been better off if he were alive.
Following reports by the Police that an alleged hit man confessed that Kelly paid them to kill Senzo, his brother, Siya has spoken out. In a recent interview with Briefly, he called it another “diversion” from the real killers of his brother. He called the hitmen “faceless” saying no one has ever come to them (his family) to say these things.
“I can tell you now that this is another diversion from the real killers of my brother. And as the family, no one has come to us with these revelations and these people called hitmen are faceless,”
“Senzo belonged to the nation. We only produced him and handed over to the nation. So, I’m pretty sure we are not the only ones who are feeling the pain of not seeing justice being served,”
He continued,
“But one day, history will judge them harshly. We have endured inexplicable pain as the family and they tell us about faceless people,”
“Imagine, it has taken them more than six years now to investigate a case of someone who was killed in front of people,”
He also blasted the police for taking so long in finding out answers to his brother’s death. Briefly also reports that Senzo’s mother’s health has been deteriorating since he died. She revealed she would only talk about his death when his real killers are arrested.
