Shimza Announces Lockdown Edition One-Man Show To Raise Funds for COVID-19 Relief

South African disc jockey and producer DJ Shimza has announced a special edition of his now famous One-Man Show to raise funds for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Shimza, who made the line-up in the Lockdown Party Mix featuring Uncle Partytime, Jovis, Noxious, Jumior Taurus and Naked DJ, announced the special edition of the show in a recent Instagram post.

According to him, the show will be hosted live from Nelson Mandela statue on Union Building on Youth Day 16 June 2020. Specifically, the funds raised from the show will go to the Solidarity Fund of the Republic of South Africa as well as the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

The announcement has been greeted with purrs of pleasure from fans and those familiar with the havoc the virus has been wreaking around the world. This isn’t Shimza’s first charity initiative, though.

At some point in his music career, he had provided bags and shoes to school children, receiving commendation from the likes of his former mentor, Black Coffee.

Are you looking forward to the show? Well, we are. It promises to be an exhilarating listening session, and we can’t wait to experience it.
