Shimza Goes Back Home to Hand out Food Parcels to 200 Families

DJ Shimza joins the long list of celebrities helping the needy during the lockdown period.

The talented DJ and Producer whose real name is Ashley Raphela, goes back to his hometown to distribute food parcels to those vulnerable and have lost their source of income in the community due to the pandemic situation.

DJ Shimza partnered up with ward Councillor in Tembisa on Wednesday 29th of April 2020 to distribute food packages to 200 families, who have been greatly affected by the lockdown.

Fans of the DJ have now taken on to twitter platform to commend the work of DJ Shimza, stating how more of this is needed among celebrities at this uncertain period.

Recall the DJ was once called out by people for not supporting up-coming artists in SA, this was due to the harsh way he told DJ Ceega he couldn’t play in his virtual lockdown sessions.
