Shimza Set For Historic One Man Show On Robben Island On Mandela Day

South African disc jockey and producer Shimza is set for another historic performance that will see him earn the tag of the first artiste to live stream from Robben island on Mandela Day.

The show will be the first of its kind from the island by a single artiste.

The “Dark Caves” artistes will be holding the performance in collaboration with his foundation, ShiMuzic, and the Siya Kolisi Foundation. MTV Base South Africa is expected to stream the show the same day, 18 July 2020, from 16:00 – 18:00.

As a producer and disc jockey, Shimza’s fame is now global. He is as famous for his music as for his humanitarian services. In fact, he is one of the young musicians changing the narrative of social responsibility in South Africa.
