Innocent Idibia, the Nigerian singer long famous as 2Baba, has publicly apologised after it emerged that he’d impregnated a banker who’s now carrying his sixth child out of wedlock.
In a post on social media, the songster had taken responsibility for his actions and urged members of the public to cancel him all they wanted for what happened.
He specifically apologised to his wife for the headache he’d caused her with his indiscretion. He also apologised to his mother, members of his family and other parties he felt must have been let down by his impregnating another woman while married to Annie.
For those who might think he’s suicidal or facing some emotional crisis or whatever, the songstress made it clear that he’s OK – but deeply sorry for his indiscretions and infidelities and wants to go back to his default, that of being a role model to many out there. 2Baba has been compared to equally polygamous folks like America’s Nick Cannon and Elon Musk. However, it remains to be seen if this should actually be the end of the “African Queen” singer having babies out of wedlock. After all, this isn’t the first time he’s apologised.
