Mzansi muso Sho Madjozi has been nominated for the MTV Africa Music Awards (MTV MAMAs) in the Best Female category. It promises to be a keen contest for all the artistes nominated.
Also nominated in this category are Busiswa (South Africa), Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Soraia Ramos (Cape Verde), Sheebah (Uganda), and Simi (Nigeria). Apparently Nigerians top the list, but will a Nigerian eventually take home the award?
Taking to Instagram, Sho Madjozi had celebrated her town of Limpopo as well as South Africa, urging her fans to vote for her and make her bring home the awards.
In a different post altogether -perhaps to drum home how busy she was this year and why she deserves the award, she had listed some of those she had collaborated with this year, including Davido, Stormzy, Marioo, Darassa, Makhadzi, AKA, and Dr Thomas Chauke.
